Red Clover
Red Clover is good for the blood and the lungs. It's main use today, however, is
to fight cancer. While one should not rely solely on Red Clover to fight cancer
it does include useful substances like Genistein. Genistein inhibits the
manufacture of an enzyme that produces ortho-phospho-tyrosine, which is one of
several indicators for cancer. Red Clover is also said to be a good tonic for
the nerves.

Researchers from the National Cancer Institute have found anti tumor properties
in the herb.
There are about 33 different cultures around the world who use Red Clover to
treat cancer.

researchers found that Red Clover contains four anti tumor compounds, Including
"Daidzein" and "Genistein." These findings are still
preliminary, and Red Clover should not be considered a treatment for cancer at
this time.
Use 1 Tablespoon of
slightly bruised dried flower tops per cup of boiling water.
Pour hot water over leaves, cover, and steep for 10 to 15 minutes. Strain, and
drink 1/2 cup 3 times a day.
Many herb companies offer commercial preparations of Red Clover. For the dosage
follow package directions.
